Briarlea Kennel ~ AKC Papillons and Bouviers des Flandres

Where we are headed.

My husband Jim and I live on a small farm in rural Wisconsin where we have, as part of our family, Bouviers des Flandres dogs and Papillons. You can find more information about our High in Trial Bouviers on their own website.

Our goal is to breed typey, structurally and mentally sound Papillons as companions. While we all enjoy the long fringes and bountiful coats on these beautiful toy dogs, our lifelong companions grow even more beautiful with age if they are sound. We test for patellas, hearts and eyes on the dogs we breed, and hope that this will help safeguard the future generations of Papillons that come from our little kennel.
